We are seeking a highly motivated Business Support Manager to enhance our operational efficiency and help drive our growth within Brown Shipley. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a proactive mindset while offering the chance to make a significant impact in the business and continue to develop a deep understanding of Private Banking/Wealth Management. The Business Support Manager will play an integral part, working as part of the Business Management function providing direct support to the Private Bank and the broader Executive Committee (ExCo).
Key Accountabilities
The key responsibility of the role is to support the commercial and strategic objectives of the Private Bank by overseeing and managing business processes and implementation of operational business change.
This will include:
- Ensuing the delivery of a high quality client journey and efficient and effective methods of working deployed within client facing business areas
- Performing business and impact analysis related to business change agenda and commercial initiatives on an ad-hoc and periodic basis
- Addressing issues and identifying improvements supporting the business to achieve its wider strategic objectives
Other Responsibilities
Involvement in various initiatives/change deliverables and on-going activity to ensure that the services delivered to clients are fit for purpose, including:
- Development of process flows to ensure business processes are effective and adhered to within the business
- Inputting to and managing change and project change initiatives
- Documenting and reviewing procedure documents used across the business
- Training development and delivery, in line with BAU and change implementation requirements
- Liaising with front office, operational and other functions within Brown Shipley & Quintet to ensure business processes meet expected and required levels
- Operating in accordance with the firm's risk appetite and regulatory requirements delivering clear/simpler ways of operating that deliver excellent client experience
- Set up and lead workshops and co-ordinate working groups and SME’s to gain knowledge and experience to support change and on-going process improvement
- Provide support to the wider business and other members of Business Support
- Culture & Behaviour – to help develop and sustain a team culture built upon the Quintet Group’s Behaviours.
- Personal Development – to develop own professional expertise through on the job training, formal training and, where appropriate, professional qualifications.
- Conduct Risk – maintain allocated 1st line conduct controls at all times.
