We're seeking Client Advisors at various levels, to join the team based in Brown Shipley, London. This offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and client-centric environment where your expertise and passion for helping others will make a significant impact.

Key Accountabilities
• Acquire new target group clients through the effective use of own network targeting prospects and, together, cross-pitching the Brown Shipley proposition.
• Drive revenues and other commercial objectives through long-term and proactive relationship management with existing clients based on trust and distinctive service.
• Lives by a Risk Culture – has an excellent understanding of the business and related compliance, conduct and operational risks. Accountable for the appropriate mitigation at any point in time within the parameters defined by the Firm’s Risk Appetite Statement and related frameworks. Act as a role model for business ownership and responsibility for risk management in line with our core values at any time or for any amount of revenue: always does the right things, doesn’t compromise on our high ethical standards in our interactions with each other or external stakeholders, e.g. clients and regulators.
• Results focused, open for business enhancement and developing Brown Shipley’s name and brand.
• Creates a partnership culture within team and between teams to deliver Brown Shipley’s overall value proposition to clients.
• To work independently and, as required, with Specialist teams within the business to advise on and manage the Investment, Financial Planning and Lending needs of clients to meet their overall Wealth Management goals and objectives within the scope of their declared risk profile.
• Contact clients regularly by telephone, letter or in person in order to ensure client’s needs are met.
• To maintain the highest standards of compliance in keeping with the company’s obligations to clients, counterparties and the regulator. These standards will be the minimum provided by law but may be extended by company policy.
• Ensure all operations affecting clients are carried out in accordance with the FCA rules.
• To represent the company and the division to clients, potential clients and introducers of clients at the standard necessary to develop the business in accordance with strategic and financial objectives.
Knowledge and Experience
Relevant experience within a wealth management or private banking role within financial services industry.
Background in investment/asset management, products, wealth planning or other functions.
Has built relationships with a portfolio of clients and prospects, and comfortable networking to generate revenue.
Familiar with defining the right advisory and investment solutions.
Understands Risk within context of the role and meets the regulatory obligations, as applicable.

Technical Skills
Qualified Adviser – Certified as an “Adviser” – subject to the relevant Training & Competency Scheme. Level 4 as a minimum
Proven threshold competent and operate with a full understanding of Risk within a regulatory framework.
