Senior Trade Support Administrator

Fantastic opportunity for a Trade Support Administrator to join Brown Shipley, London, just a few minutes walk from Bank tube station. 

Key Accountabilities

1. Carry out all administration activities, as identified in the relevant team training matrix, in an accurate and timely manner. This will include acting as a liaison point between our Investment Managers and chosen brokers; completing regulatory reports such as Transaction Reporting and monitoring of Best and Timely Execution; maintaining US Qualified Intermediary (QI) documentation and liaising with the ACD and custodian of our in-house funds. 
2. Ensure that all relevant company procedures are complied with and that all relevant legal and regulatory reporting requirements and deadlines are met.
3. Ensure that all reasonable requests received from clients, Client Executives and other internal customers are carried out in a complete, accurate and timely manner and that they are kept informed of work progress and status where necessary.
4. To undertake checking of work, training and support of other team members as required.
5. Assist management in maintaining and developing internal procedures, checklists and guidance notes and with the preparation of management information and risk reporting.

Knowledge and Experience

Ideal candidate will have good experience working in an Operations department within an investment management / wealth management environment.
Knowledge and experience of working in a trade support environment, and an understanding of trading flows for different asset classes is preferable.
A good candidate will benefit from an understanding of regulatory requirements such as Best Execution and Timeliness monitoring, CASS and MIFIR and how they apply to an investment bank.
Demonstrable experience of providing oversight of daily MIFIR reporting requirements is desirable
An understanding of the US Qualified Intermediary (QI) requirements will be beneficial, as will previous experience of reviewing and validating W-series tax forms.

Technical Skills

Knowledge of investment / wealth management operations
Understanding of trade flows and characteristics of different asset classes 
Understanding of Best / Timley Execution monitoring and MIFIR Transaction Reporting is desirable
Knowledge and understanding of CASS regulations
Knowledge of IRS tax documentation and reporting would also be beneficial.
