Team Leader Quality Assurance

Purpose of the Job


As Team Leader you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of one of the sub-teams within Quality Assurance (team Onboarding / team Review). In this role you will supervise, coach, inspire, coordinate and monitor team members, keep overview, approve files and take part in (E)CAC-meetings.


You will be leading a team of approx. 20 CDD analysts and 4 Quality Checkers and in that capacity you will actively participate in various meetings and projects within Private Banking and InsingerGilissen Services. First and foremost, you will be the first point of contact for operational matters re client onboarding or CDD reviews (depending on the sub team). 


(Shared) responsibility for the quality of files provided for client onboarding / CDD reviews for Private Banking and InsingerGilissen Services. In doing so, you will prepare and attend Client Acceptance Committee (CAC) meetings and take initiatives for learning & development, coaching-on-the-job and process improvement when it comes to onboarding or CDD reviews.


Aside onboarding clients and preparing and reviewing periodic CDD reviews made by the front office, the Team is also responsible for Training & (Project) Support. Part of the duties of  the team leader is making analyses, checks (1st line monitoring) and contributing and participating in projects.

Key Accountabilities


Monitoring and improving operational processes:


•    Leading and organizing the team, inspiring and coaching employees
•    Responsible for prioritising and monitoring turnaround times.
•    Checking of files assessed by team members, reviews and work.
•    Contributing to the annual plan


Policy support and development:


•    Making a contribution to the implementation of the strategy and annual plan.
•    Gather and analyse (complex) data of the Quality Assurance Team and Front Office.
•    Identify opportunities improving the quality and efficiency of processes and systems, translating findings into suggestions for improvement.
•    (Delegated) responsibility and authority in projects within the frameworks and understandings defined.
•    Participating in projects affecting Private Banking and InsingerGilissen Services.
•    Participating in various innovation and digitalization initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

 

•    Relevant professional experience as a team leader of a CDD/KYC department, ideally with experience in private banking and/or financial intermediaries.
•    Several years of CDD/KYC experience and in depth knowledge .
•    Given the size of the team, we are looking for a hands-on team leader with experience managing a team of 20-30 employees.
•    Professional and intellectual abilities comparable to university level.
•    Solid knowledge of processes, procedures, products and systems within a bank or the willingness to quickly master that knowledge.

Technical and Language Skills


Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) are preferential.
Excellent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal.
