Senior Financial Data Analyst

Purpose of the Job

 

Financial Performance System and Data team is mainly responsible for maintaining, administrating and improving the financial performance information system and data, ensuring the quality of the data, providing financial reports, dashboard and support to the various entities of the group. As a Senior Financial Data officer, you will be in charge of Business As Usual activity of the team and contribute to the implementation of financial performance reporting and data model project. 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Lead and coordinate the implementation of financial reporting projects from analysis, testing and implementation in production
  • Contribute TM1 Performance financial reporting application enhancement including revenue, cost allocations and Assets under management data this covers analyses, writes business specifications, user guides, and testing
  • Work closely with our team central and local stakeholders to harmonize and define the group policy, develop detailed business requirements, conduct gap analyses and create functional designs
  • Collect data from various sources and contributors, verify its quality and consistency and produce monthly and weekly reports
  • Design, implement, maintain complex TM1 application and reports based on business needs and the group policy 
  • Provide strong level of support and assistance to TM1 community, find solutions in close collaboration with stakeholders enhance and consolidate existing data and reporting models
  • Contribute to the change management approach (communication, training, documentation...) in order to enforce the central/local collaboration  
     

Knowledge and Experience

 

 

  • Financial data analytics and TM1 development skills 
  • Able to demonstrate a proven experience of working as data analyst with excellent business analysis skills and the ability to interpret and define business requirements
  • Strong understanding of TM1 reporting systems, best practices and processes including knowledge of Perspectives, ETL and TM1 Web portal

  • Ability to manage different levels of stakeholders
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple assignments, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions
     

Technical Skills

 

  • Strong financial data analysis and control, 
  • Minimum 3 years of experience required with IBM Cognos TM1
  • Cognos BI or SAP are a plus

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluent English, other languages advantageous
