The proposed role is part of Group Finance function within the Performance & Analysis area. The team boasts a unique expertise at the juncture of finance, systems and transformation project management. The key responsibilities of the team lies in the production of reliable, insightful and actionable information to support the performance of the bank and value creation for our client. The mandate of the team is, as a result, extensively broad: financial reporting, strategic and financial planning, internal and external stakeholders interactions – i.e. management, Board members, regulators, investors, rating agencies -, systems sophistication. The position definitely grants exposure to diversified, transversal, challenging and strategic topics; commanding a swift learning curve.
Key Accountabilities
- Assess the performance of the bank via the production of insightful financial reports for internal and external stakeholders – i.e. management, Board members, regulators, investors, rating agencies -
- Develop insight and understanding of the drivers thereof
- Complete the financial planning and budgeting
- Contribute to the engagement with, and coordination of, stakeholders such as management, investor relations, rating agencies, Board members and shareholder
- Contribute to transformation projects to better leverage and further develop systems to command enhanced data quality, refine understanding and automate further
Knowledge and Experience
- No strict seniority requirement: the right candidate will display a combination of motivation for the role and relevant experience
- Master/Bachelor degree in business management, strategy, finance, engineering or science
- Previous experience in finance, accounting, strategy, corporate finance
- Previous exposure to IT implementation – e.g. business requirements - related to finance area considered as an advantage
- Previous experience in banking, asset management and/or financial institutions as a plus (depending on seniority)

- Genuine interest for data and digital topics
Technical Skills
- Strong command of Microsoft office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- PowerBI knowledge as a plus
- Command of IBM TM1 utilisation considered as a strong advantage
- Familiarity with banking software considered as an advantage
Languages Skills
- Fluency in English
- Any other language considered as an advantage
