We offer a challenging and interesting role in a dynamic and evolving legal team within the legal function of Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A. (“Quintet Group”). We are seeking a highly professional administrative and para-legal support who will be dedicated to the the Group Legal Function. Your tasks include consolidating and support managing the Group Legal cost line and provisions for legal proceedings, and ideally as well the provision of para-legal support. Ideally, the candidate is based in Luxembourg or willing to relocate to Luxembourg in the near future.  

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Consolidate and monitor the legal cost line of the Group Legal Function against budget  
  • Assist the team of lawyers with fee quote requests for external counsel support 
  • Coordinate Group Legal team meetings and keep track of the agendas  
  • Facilitate the completion of forms and processes, as well as other administrative tasks, including the processing and monitoring of invoices on Group level
  • Support the team of lawyers in reviewing provision levels for legal proceedings 
  • Assist with the remediation of audit points 
  • Register and supervise litigation calendaring deadlines 
  • Request and consolidate internal reports on Group level  
  • Assist in drafting letters and presentations and in collecting signatures 
  • Ideally the candidate is able to also perform para-legal work, e.g. the review of NDAs and service agreements against minimum standards set by the team of lawyers

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Bachelor Degree in Law 
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and problem solving while remaining calm in deadline-driven situations.  
  • The successful candidate will also exhibit a work ethic of punctuality and reliability.

Technical Skills

 

  • The qualified candidate must have comprehensive knowledge of legal office procedures, demonstrate initiative and have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to use good judgment in handling tasks in a timely and professional manner with limited supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, solid computer proficiencies 

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of French, Dutch or German is an asset
