Risk & Compliance Analyst

Job Summary

As First Line of Defense, perform controls on Front key processes to ensure a consistent discipline and provide an accurate view of the controls results

Job Responsibilities

1.Contribute to the Design and implementation of the  new set of FLOD controls, incl. quality insurance framework  and KRIs
2.Diligently perform FLOD controls (definition and documentation of the control and its related process together with the required level of education and communication)
3.Implement and maintain relevant FLOD KRIs
4.Analyse KPIs, identify root cause of problems highlighted and develop key messages & action plans to mitigate risks in collaboration with FO
5.Contribute to produce all required regulatory & internal reporting, including projects & initiatives status updates
6.Monitor the breaches platform (MyClient), incl. the development of reporting in the tool to various management levels, and any other further IT developments required
7.Support the FO in the implementation of action plans of Audit & Compliance reports
8.Review processes impacting Front activities and assess the impact on the existing controls (risk mitigation)

Qualifications / Experiences

Bachelor or Master Degree in related field
Relevant experience of 5-10 years in risk management, controls, banking, Audit


Strong problem solving and analytical  skills (data analysis, articulation of key messages and status)
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships 
Strongly collaborative approach, with good understanding of when to support stakeholders and when to challenge them
Attention to detail, high level of diligence and ability to multi-task and work on tight deadlines
Strong knowledge of MS Office
Skilled Excel and Access user is a key criterion


Fluent/ excellent level in English & French, both written and spoken
