Your Mission

As Senior Alternatives Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing Quintet's alternative investment offering.

Acting as a trusted expert and ambassador for alternatives, you will help deliver innovative investment solutions that create value for our clients while supporting the continued growth and evolution of our investment platform.

This is a highly visible position offering the opportunity to collaborate with senior stakeholders across the bank, influence strategic decisions and become a recognised voice in the alternative investment space.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver innovative alternative investment solutions aligned with client objectives.
  • Design and develop alternative investment solutions within a portfolio context, helping clients access attractive opportunities across alternative asset classes.
  • Define and further develop alternative investment strategies and investment ideas.
  • Lead due diligence and manager selection processes to ensure the highest standards of quality and governance.
  • Ensure sound governance and risk oversight across the alternative investment framework and Alternatives Committee meetings.
  • Contribute to the distribution and growth of alternatives by partnering closely with investment specialists and client advisors across the Group.
  • Act as Quintet's senior alternatives expert, providing guidance, thought leadership and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Communicate market developments, strategic priorities and investment themes effectively to a broad audience.
  • Contribute to Group publications, investment research and thought leadership initiatives while acting as a respected external voice on alternatives investments.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Advanced academic qualifications (Master's degree and/or professional investments qualification).
  • Minimum ten years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of alternative asset classes and investment structures, with the ability to transform opportunities into investable solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise across hedge funds, private markets and direct investment opportunities.
  • Solid understanding of alternatives sales and distribution.
