The person for this role will define, analyse, and document business requirements of projects, acting as a bridge between business problems & IT solutions and interacting with business experts & IT stakeholders, but also build and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of the platform, leveraging it to further simplify and adapt our processes around it. The role will also require to support the selection and integration of new tools or processes by providing assurance that solution designs are fit for purpose and integrate within the enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency and cost-efficiency across projects, functions and entities.
 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Lead functional and architectural deep dives towards solving business challenges, related operating model ramifications and technology impact
  • Act as a reference point on the platform processes and applications within one or several functional domains. Ensure follow up of all changes within these domains  
  • Engage with projects to ensure that the requirements of the solution are being met by the proposed solution design, review the technical input and subject matter expertise input into the proposed solution design, covering areas such as the definition of requirements, legal compliance, security considerations, functional fit, technological capability, cost, support modelling (such as skill and resource requirements) and delivery capability.
  • Support Ops&IT leadership ensuring projects align with the business and IT strategy, and minimize tactical spend on non-strategic platforms. This could include review of operating models, data sourcing and other related data architecture considerations as well as front-to-back designs.
  • Define and maintain the enterprise architecture blueprints, describing how technology platforms support business capabilities across current and target states.
     

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • Advanced degree in business administration, economics, technology or engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in technology projects within Financial Services industry

  • Good team player, but also strong autonomy
  • Capable of interacting with multiple stakeholders (business, IT, suppliers)
  • Good presentation skills, including adapting to the audience (technical, managers, ...)
  • Ability to think outside the box
     

Technical Skills

 

  • Detailed understanding of banking business, products & services, and end-to-end processes
  • Experience in multi-location and system-driven environments
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Proficient in building relationships, strong interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding of IT architecture may be advantageous.

Languages Skills

 

  • Fluent in French and English. Third language is a plus.
