As part of the Group Client & Bank Tax department, your mission will be to participate in the establishment of Tax Reclaim files for a wide range of markets and to handle the steps associated with the Relief at Source process, as well as to ensure the follow-up of all files submitted. In this role you will be involved in a large variety of operational and tax subjects. You will be supported by Tax Officers and Tax Advisers who will assist you in acquiring the necessary knowledge to perform the activity. You will be joining a Tax team of 11 Tax Officers, Tax Experts and Tax Advisors very motivated, working together with complementary expertise in Tax and Operations.

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Actively acting in the processes of Tax Relief and Tax Reclaim for Quintet Luxembourg, the Group entities and the Private and Institutional customers 
  • Implement and renew the tax documentation of clients with a duly signed Tax mandate for Tax Relief and Tax Reclaim purposes 
  • Participate in the design of the Tax Reclaim and Relief at Source IT tools.  
  • Participate to the drafting and the periodic up-date of the Tax Relief and Tax Reclaim procedures 
  • Processing and tracking the service requests related to the Tax Relief and Tax Reclaim activity 
  • Carry out accounting transactions for the payment of recovered taxes to customers and monitor cash positions relating to tax recovery  
  • Manage the relationships with the custodians and foreign tax authorities for tax reliefs and tax reclaims 
  • First line of defence 

Knowledge and Experience

 

  • BAC+3 in Finance / Economics 
  • Intermediate (less than 5 years)
