Execution Only & Core Clients Desk

Purpose of the Job


The jobholder is part of the commercial teams, with responsibility for the commercial and/or administrative development of customer portfolios for the Execution Only & Core Clients Desk (Customers EO and Core Clients). 

Her/he will become a part of the Execution Only & Core Clients Desk in Brussels and focus on providing operational, commercial and procedural excellence to our clients. 

The role is an important link in maintaining long-term customer relationships and contributes to the profitability and rationalisation of this group of customers.

Key Accountabilities


  • Maintaining and developing relationships with clients by being a trusted partner for the daily business; 
  • Ensure a swift communication between customers and bank; 
  • Being a point of contact for the client’s operational requests and general enquiries; 
  • Draw up portfolio summaries, account documents, presentations customers; 
  • Receive customers in the branch or at their homes (limited); 
  • Carry out administrative banking tasks: opening and closing accounts, monitoring small non-discretionary accounts, checking debit accounts, interest calculations, close unprofitable accounts, Mifid, PKR, etc.; 
  • Enter customer details into the various systems; 
  • Execute stock market orders: forwarding stock market orders, monitor transactions on securities, check and execute transfers of securities (to and from Puilaetco), answer questions from customers about their orders; 
  • Comply with internal and external rules and regulations from an administrative point of view, including compliance, risk, etc; 
  • Creation and upkeep of a general presentation Rivertree Strategic; 
  • Looking for opportunities and proposing services with every customer contact. 

Knowledge and Experience


  • Proven and relevant experience and understanding of local regulatory framework, cross-border and risk and compliance; 
  • Bachelor’s degree required, accompanied by relevant work in the financial sector (Private Banking) would be a plus; 
  • Must possess a PCP certificate (Willems Act – provision of services in the banking sector) or recognised diploma for a PCP (Person in Contact with the Public) role; 
  • Interest and knowledge of the financial markets and instruments.

  • French: Fluent; 
  • Dutch: Fluent; 
  • English: Fluent; 
  • Any others languages are an advantage.
