Purpose of the Job / Objectives

The successful candidate will report to the Head Legal Cross-Border and assist in the maintenance of the Group cross-border framework from a legal perspective by:
• Developing country-specific regulatory guidance and internal training material on various Middle Eastern jurisdictions
• Advising on strategic decisions for the Middle East region
• Collaborating with other Legal Cross-Border team members for effective coverage across various booking centers of the Group
• Supporting other functions with cross-border legal input as necessary
• Staying abreast of regulatory developments for markets within his or her responsibility

Required Knowledge and Experience
  • A common or civil law degree and admission to the bar / qualified solicitor in the UK
  • Law firm or in-house counsel experience advising wealth management businesses on cross-border regulatory issues
  • Proficiency in legal writing with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Intellectual curiosity and very good analytical skills

Language Skills
