As Client Advisor at Quintet Private Bank Denmark, you leverage your network to cultivate and convert relevant prospective clients into valuable business relationships. You have deep insights into financial markets and investment products in all asset classes, you advise clients within the HNWI/UHNWI segment based on a holistic approach.
With direct report to the Head of Quintet Denmark and as a part of our Nordic team, you are expected to build your own portfolio of new clients, and take the initiative and responsibility to develop and maintain these relationships. As a pure private bank, Quintet considers all aspects of the clients' current investment portfolio and total wealth. With a “Family Office mindset” we look at the overall strategy, the ownership structure, next generations, and other relevant topics.
Quintet will always aim to complement and optimize the client portfolio according to client´s investment strategy, based on an open architecture and independent approach, and very strong external partnerships.
Most of our team is based in Copenhagen, but as we are looking for candidates covering different parts of Denmark, we can be flexible on your location.
Key Accountabilities
Client Acquisition
- Continuously identify and create new leads through the effective use of own network targeting domestic (internal for international client advisors) prospects. Follow-up and manage acquisition pipeline.
- Deliver high competing acquisition speeches and cross-pitch Quintet value proposition and Richer Life plan in a compelling way, acting as strong Quintet brand ambassador in the market and contributing to increasing the share or wallet of existing clients
Client Relationship Management
- Develop an outstanding understanding of the client family situation, financial position, investment objectives and risk profile. Ensure the financial and life needs of client families are understood and met
- Actively mobilise the right investment, financial and wealth planning or lending specialists across the group as required to meet the client overall Wealth Management goals and objectives within the scope of the client risk profile
- Develop and maintain a strong and sustainable relationship with client families through regular visit and contacts. Actively and regularly approaches client based on identified developments.
- Drive revenues and other commercial objectives through long-term and proactive relationship management with existing clients based on trust and distinctive service.
Investment advice
- Is knowledgeable on all investment products & markets, determine the desired risk profile in consultation with clients, sets investment objectives and discusses achievable and achieved performance with clients
- Advise on the choice of the investment strategy, design, and composition of investment portfolios, appropriate to the client's objectives and risk appetite, follow-up and reports on the achieved performance of investments and overall service delivery.
Risk management
- Act as 1st line of defence risk manager for clients & the bank through proactive risk management of financial, compliance, conduct, cross-border (for international client advisors only) and operational risks arising from servicing clients. Is accountable for the appropriate and timely mitigation of any issues raised by Business Risk Management or Compliance at any point in time and within the parameters defined by the Firm’s Risk Appetite Statement and related frameworks
- Ensure that both clients newly onboarded, and existing clients are in line with the Group Strategy & Risk Appetite, have been timely and appropriately risk assessed in line with the internal FCC requirements and internal quality standards
- Ensure that all operations affecting clients carried out in accordance with regulatory and internal policy requirements (e.g. client suitability, Financial Crime Compliance or other relevant internal policy)
- Act as a role model for business ownership and responsibility for risk management in line with our core values at any time or for any amount of revenue. Always does the right things, does not compromise on our high ethical standards in our interactions with each other or external stakeholders, e.g. clients and regulators
Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in economics/Finance, or bank graduate supplemented with HD or equivalent
- Solid experience of wealth planning and/or investment advice in the banking sector, asset management industry, or a Family Office
- Documented practical experience with outgoing commercial activities
- A first experience from international private banking/wealth management is clearly an advantage.
